AAIA'15 Data Mining Competition:

AAIA'15 Data Mining Competition: Tagging Firefighter Activities at a Fire Scene was a continuation of the last year's competition organized within the framework of International Symposium on Advances in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (AAIA'15). This time, the task was related to the problem of recognizing activities carried out by firefighters based on streams of information from body sensor networks. Prizes worth over 4,000 PLN were awarded to the most successful teams. The contest is sponsored by Polish Information Processing Society, with a support from University of Warsaw and ICRA project.

AAIA’15 Data Mining Competition attracted many participants from around the world. In total there were 152 registered teams, from which 79 actively participated in the challenge by submitting at least one solution. We received nearly 1840 submissions and 55 teams provided a short report describing their approach.

The Data Minining Competition is planned to be continued within the framework of the 11th International Symposium on Advances in Artificial Intelligence and Applications (AAIA'16).
